I hope all of you are having a wonderful holiday season!

We're taking most of December off from photo sessions to make some headway on our home renovations. The current project is getting our flooring ready for concrete staining. Our nights and weekends have been filled with ripping up carpet and scraping up vinyl glue. Really, were just trying to give our arms a bootcamp style workout so our cameras and giant lenses will feel even lighter! At least that's how I'm justifying it. Also as a bonus, hopefully in a few short weeks, the floors in our house will look like this:

Nice, shiny, and more importantly, pretty impervious to any art mess (aka oil paint spillage) I could ever make on it.

Our blog wouldn't be complete without some recent photoshoot photos in it also, so here are a few. Enjoy!

I love this photo because the flower girl looks like she's thinking "What in the world are these crazy adults doing!?"

 The lighting of the lanterns! These were so amazing. Basically, they acted as hot air balloons, that rose up and floated away after they were lit up. They looked spectacular, all floating away off towards the ocean.

But really, what better way is there to end a wedding photography blog than with a cake smash photo?

We just had to post a "sneak peek" photo for them too before we post their online proofing gallery this weekend.

You might recognize these guys from their awesome engagement photo session we did earlier on in the year. It was so great to get to capture their beautiful wedding. Meg did a great job on all of their decorations, too! But you'll just have to wait to see...

You can definitely tell that these two are completely crazy about each other. One day they will both be famous, and we'll be able to say that we were their photographers way back when. :)
